Yesterday was another day of knowledge.
In a Chicago History Museum call my attention the theme about the Great Fire in 1871.
After an excellent explanation of the fact, that Sr. wise made the following question: The fire was good or bad for the city of Chicago?
Obviously at first it was poorly im think anyway thousand were dead.
But his silence made me notice that the answer was not so obvious.
Soon he expounded: yes, many died, but the city had been devastated had the opportunity to build a new city with the best possible concepts.
Im like it.
Yes, this Chicago Fire was a great influence in the modern day Chicago. The Devil in the White City is a great book about the World's Fair. It has some amazing details.
